Common name: Goddess of the sea.
Short description: The body is white, with a thin yellow band and a bright red one a little wider around the mantle, the foot and the tail. The rhinophores and gill are white with red tips. Size: Reaches from 40 to 65 mm.
Geographic distribution: From the Gulf of California and the Mexican Pacific, to Panama; Colombia, Ecuador and the Caribbean.

It is common to find it in the intertidal and submareal zone up to eight meters deep, moving on algae and sponges in search of food. Its bright coloring may be a defense mechanism.
